When short-term airside cover makes sense
- A temporary airside pass for a specific project
- Maintenance windows measured in days or weeks
- Seasonal or stand-in service for a concessionaire
- One-off deliveries, surveys or inspections with airport access
- Emergency works where you need proof of cover quickly
Policy periods can be short-term (including 24-hour) or annual — we help match the cover to the requirement rather than forcing a full-year policy when you only need a brief window.
What you still need to get right
Even on a short policy, airports care about the indemnity limit and that the wording is suitable for airside risk. Limits still run from £1 million to £250 million. Standard landside public liability often remains unsuitable — see airside vs public liability.
How to arrange short-term cover
Start the online quote form and note the dates and airports involved. An advisor reviews the risk and returns terms — there is no instant checkout. For urgent pass deadlines, call 01773 810072 (Mon–Fri, 8am–8pm) or request a callback.
Ongoing work?
If you regularly work airside as a contractor or concessionaire, an annual policy may be more practical. We can talk through both when we quote.
